A tournament leaderboard is a real-time ranking system that tracks the performance of players or teams based on their results in a tournament. It is commonly used in group stages, leagues, and point-based tournaments to determine standings and advancement.

At mashharder.com our leaderboard ranks players based on points, rating and tournaments won, just like any group leaderboard incase a player has the same point we rank based on our leaderboard tie breaker

Leaderboard Ranking System

Below is the order in which players are ranked, incase points, rating or win ratio is the same

Pointspoints are made by participating and winning tournaments
RatingPlayers gain rating by defeating opponents, ratings gained may vary based on the stats and strenght of the opponents
Win RationMatches played, won and loss are recorded, win ration is calulated with the format (Total Win/Total Matches * 100)
TrophyEach tournament win grants a player a trophy

Points

points are made by participating and winning tournaments, points may vary based on the tournament type or number of players , online tournaments often recieve less points than ofline tournaments, however both use the same global pointing system but are awarded different additional points

Rating

Players gain rating by defeating opponents, ratings gained may vary based on the stats and strenght of the opponents, games with fixed rounds may have slighly different rating system , example: Mortal Kombat, Street figher, Tekken and other fighting games

Win Ration

Matches played, won and loss are recorded, win ration is calulated with the format (Total Win/Total Matches * 100)

Trophy

Each tournament win grants a player a trophy

Leaderboard Reset

The leaderboard is reseted every year, however points, rating, win ration and trophies gained the previous year will be save in our all time-record database
