In general I pretty sure you'll be fine. Security is good, there is no moshing (every now and then people make a circle to show off their moves though), and I'm pretty sure there weren't any drugs last time either. Of course, anywhere you go there will be the inevitable creeper or two. Those guys are avoidable though. If all else fails find someone like one of us and use us as your bodyguard

c'mon now.. your 16, you can take care of yourself. I started going to cons alone at 15. As long as you dont do anything stupid. ^-^ people are really friendly and they will be glad to help out, there are some that are a litttleee sketchy but like i said, you know the difference between right and wrong. but most importantly

additional information: no one will try to kidnap you or anything despite it being a rave and all dark there are lots of photographers and AM staff walking around. *Key to having fun is just dance and enjoy yourself.

Y'know, my friend's mom was just like that. AM's raves are totally safe. Besides massive, insane dancing, there's nothing to worry about. <3

QFT! Yes there are ample amount of security and staff at the raves. When I play everyone is too busy dancing and having a good time to mosh. I didnt know people did mosh pits at raves??? LoL what kinda angry music are they playing at the other cons?? Tell your mom that there is alot of security, no drugs, and A LOT of dancing!

I've been to AM raves since the first and nothing bad. Very safe and it's fun and safe enough to really joy for everyone.
