Volunteering for AM2010

Anime Matsuri 2010 is just months away and we are looking for some hardworking and dedicated volunteers to help out this coming April.

Requirements for Volunteering

1. Minimum age of 16 (by convention date)

2. Must fulfill hour requirements and report in a timely manner to their shifts

3. Willingness to take orders from their own department heads as well as other department heads

4. Abiding to all staff rules and having common courtesy when dealing with attendees and fellow volunteers

I may be volunteering (not sure yet). But for those asking questions go here:

24 hour volunteers can get crash space and are even thrown food

but you have to be 18 for that. And if I remember correctly job positions are: Security, Registration, Video Room, Game Room, Maid (handled separately), and Gopher (being the all-purpose "tell me what to do" volunteer)

Also when applying make sure to mention anything you would like them to know.

There has been a flood of volunteer forms. All volunteers forms are being processed at the moment. Everyone should get a reply sometime mid next week. Thank you for your patience.

Not to be a fusser or anything, but I have not received anything about the volunteering (negative or positive). I would like to know fairly soon since my group is starting to think about purchasing the group badge very soon. Thank you
